Can’t we just use Slack or Google Calendar?

Why isn’t this included in our existing Kadence plan?

Kadence Events is a new product designed to enhance hybrid workplace coordination. Our core platform remains the same, but Events offers a specialized engagement solution with data-driven insights.

How does this compare to Eventbrite or Zoom Events?

Kadence Events is built for internal workplace coordination—not external event hosting or ticketing. It integrates seamlessly with workspace management, ensuring your team can make the most of every office day.

Why can I not delete my event?

Once an event is published, it can’t be deleted—you can only cancel it. Deletion is available only for draft or past events.

When I edit my event, will all attendees be notified?

When you edit a published event, a confirmation modal appears asking if you want to notify all attendees about the changes. You have the option to send out notifications (via email and IM) or skip them.

Who can create and view events?

Open events are visible to all employees, while invite-only events are accessible only to invited users (and all Global Admins). Event creation is typically available to users with the appropriate permissions, such as Event Organisers and Global Admins.

If I invite a team to an event, and someone leaves or joins that team, will they be uninvited/invited to the event?

Yes, they will be auto-invited or uninvited based on the team’s current membership.

If I select a team to become ‘event organiser’ if someone joins/ leaves that team, will they automatically become/are not any more an event organiser?

Yes, they will automatically become/stop being Event Organisers.

Why can I not delete the event organiser from the event?

If there’s only one event organiser for an event, they cannot be removed to ensure that the event always has someone managing it.

Can anyone be added as Event organiser to my event?

Only users who have been granted the ‘Event Organiser’ permission can be added as an event organiser.

Is there the option to join a waiting list?

There isn’t a waiting list you can join but once the capacity has been reached users can still RSVP ‘Maybe” (but they won’t be able to RSVP “Yes, in person.” anymore)
